Nova Protocol
Build a modular ship, fly it with real physics, and watch every hit tear it apart.
Nova Protocol is a 3D space combat game about building ships from functional sections, learning how they move, and surviving the damage they take.
Build modular ships
Choose parts from a visual gallery, stack sections together, add procedurally generated details, and preview the finished hull before taking it into flight.

Fly what you build
Every section affects the ship. Thrusters provide acceleration, flight computers control handling, and mass determines how the hull moves under Newtonian physics.

Combat
Launch torpedoes at long range, charge up a railgun shot for a mid range heavy hit, or use point defence cannons to engage in CQB or take down incoming ordnance.

Damage
When a ship takes damage you can actually see it, cracks start to appear, machinery sparks, and sections break apart. A ship stays alive as long as it has enough sections left.

Cockpit
The game offers a diegetic HUD that updates based on what you are doing. The UI shows you the relevant things when you need them.

Initial demo
This is a free initial demo of Nova Protocol. Development is ongoing, and the scope and pricing of any future Steam release have not been announced.
Nova Protocol is developed in public. You can inspect the source, report problems, and follow development on GitHub.
